The mountaineer!

Well that was an interesting star to what is the nearly over holidays!
We have just spent the last week up in the mountain with mums friends. There was her friend Natalie, her husband Stephan, daughter Clara, and her friend Charlotte, son Martin, and his friend Nathan.
We were staying in their little chalet, near the Mont Blanc.

the baby slope ski lift
All of us, except Cam of course, went skiing once or twice a day. Me and dad were on the baby slope, and mum sometimes came to watch and laugh. Mum says that we are both very good, and so on the last day, mum took me up to the blue slope. The lift was a lot faster, and it went up a steep hill, which was very scary.
I did pretty well, fell over a few times but megh!
We had a few pretty good meals, pasta and meat and a lot of mars bars!
We would often play cards, and we learnt a new way of playing speed. After spending a few days there, we decided to go for a ten minute trip to Switzerland! And it was literally ten minutes. We had a hot chocolate at a pub, bought some chocolate, and went back to France!

Our House!

Tomorrow we shall leave to go to Avingon and Orange(yes it is said like the color/fruit)to see some Romain ruins!

  2. Hi Rosie - your trip sounded awesome. When you are buried your head looked really small and we can only see your head and legs. Your house looks very nice and calm, and good for reading. love from Lauren xxx

S'up Rosie? How's your trip going? Just wondering, love Louis. PS Say hi to Camille for me.

  3. Rosalie - So you went to Switzerland. Another country to add to your list. We took your Dad to Swizerland when he was about your age but we couldn't afford skis so he had to make do with a plastic bag. No wonder he has problems with real skis! We love your blogs.
    Love, Liz & Bob xx
