Venice-part 1

Also, how is school going for all of you lucky children who have escaped the evil clutches of the french school system?! For all of my friends at pnins, meg has informed me about your musical, you are sooo lucky! Go for big rolls and good luck to anyone who is going to try for class councilor, and to Caitlyn, hope that Girls High is good!

Now, I have been to Italy! I did so much that I must put this in 2 parts! First, we packed the car and headed on the highway( of course getting lost a few times). We stopped in Susa after 4 hours, and had our first Italian pizza! While we were there, we found an arch which was dedicated to one of the ancient Roman emperors, Augustus! We then headed down to Burgamo. We were staying at this little B&B place, and we had a bottle of champagne to celebrate Cam's 18th! We then bumped into a parade of the Italian President, and a few Cardinals! We then walked the dog filled streets, until we found a resteraunt. I had a beef fillet with a potato cake, mum polenta with prosciutto , dad had saffron rice cake and a cows head ragu, and Camille had lasagne.
We had a Zugmeyre cake for dessert, then slept. For breakfast we had toast and all the usual western shibang, then off to Venice! We parked the car then took a 10 minute train, which landed at the station.
We took a boat to our rather basic but livable hotel...
